Electrician recommendation for smoke alarm system?
I did not find any recent posts on this topic on the forum so thought I would start a new thread. My building is having problems with our smoke alarms, which may be related to their wiring. Every single one went off during the hurricane, and the only fix was to cut power to the system at the fuse box. Can anyone recommend a good electrician who could check out the wiring and repair if necessary?

you sure its not low on battery? cause most hard wire also has battery backup and once it does go on battery it will beep all the time to show you need new battery.

One may have been malfunctioning, and set the others off if they are the sort that trigger each other.
Turn the power back on, and disconnect each individual smoke alarm to see if it turns the others off.
