PS 217 Fundraiser: One Night, Two Bands, One Great Cause!

Come and support the arts at PS 217 and have a blast doing it! On Saturday, November 17 the Parents Association of PS. 217 will host a fundraiser at 773 Lounge in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. First up at 8pm are the regressive rock/alt-country tunes of Brooklyn's own the Hordanos. At 10pm, Alegba & Friends will make you swing, playing Haitian roots music, jazz, reggae, rara, and more. Suggested admission is $20 with the first drink on the house. Light fare will be available for purchase.

773 Lounge is located at 773 Coney Island Ave, between Cortelyou and Dorchester Roads in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. The closest subways stations are the Q train at Cortelyou Road and F train at Ditmas Avenue.

All fundraiser proceeds go directly to benefit arts enrichment at PS 217. These programs touch every child with exposure to music, drama, creative writing and studio art woven directly into the standard curriculum. To learn more, visit http://ps217brooklyn.org.
