HURRICANE RELIEF UPDATE FROM TWO BOOTS:

We are continuing to prepare and serve hot food and sandwiches to families in the Rockaways, Coney Island, Gerritsen Beach, Gowanus, Red Hook and other affected areas through the weekend. It looks like Mother Nature is going to ease up this weekend and hopefully the utilities can get the power back on.

Thousands of people have not had a hot meal in over a week.

We still need volunteers at Two Boots to help prepare and portion food. If you'd like to volunteer, call @Lina Canney at 718 499 3253.

If you have gassed up vehicles and would like to make trips with us to deliver hot food and supplies, contact @Lina Canney at 718 499 3253. We need people with cars desperately!!!!!

If you're able-bodied and willing to run up and down stairs with us delivering food door-to-door in housing projects, contact Occupy Sandy or @Lina Canney at 718 499 3253
