Special Berm Cleaning this Saturday!

Neighbors,

Friends of the Berms will hold its FINAL event of the year this coming Saturday, November 17 from 10 AM to Noon. There will be two special features:

First, we have some STORM CLEAN-UP to do - between Sandy and the Nor'easter, there are downed branches and lots of leaf litter, making our Berm blocks look generally forlorn. We will do our best to spruce them up.

Second, to celebrate the end of another successful year, our partners at the Volunteer Office in Prospect Park will be providing a free PIZZA LUNCH at Noon!

Your presence will help make this special day a success, and we hope you can join us. As always, we'll meet at 10 AM at the corner of Plaza St and Vanderbilt Ave, before moving to the day's work areas. Please try to arrive on time so we don't miss you. Adults and supervised children are welcome, and no experience is necessary. Gloves and tools are provided.
