Audio Gear left in Zipcar at 105 Underhill

3 bags left in the backseat floorboard of the Honda CRV 'Cantone' at 105 Underhill, Car Park Systems on Friday, Dec. 21.

2 of the bags included headphones and splitters. The 3rd bag has five H1 Zoom audio recorders and external speakers.

The equipment belongs to The LAMP, a non-profit organization that operates media literacy workshops in schools and libraries across NYC.

I'd call Zipcar. They obviously know who used the car before you.

I suspect they left the bags in the car, and seek the persons who used the car AFTER them.

But, yup, I would call Zipcar....

Zipcar won't contact other clients about lost items or share the information with you. They don't accept responsibility for lost items, so therefore won't provide assistance in recovering those items. Zipcar has a 'Lost + Found' forum, but it doesn't email the post to the clients who reserved the car after you.

I went back to the garage and searched the car. The items were either taken by one of the interim drivers or thrown away.

The only advice Zipcar gives you is to file a police report.

I'm posting everywhere I can with my fingers crossed.
