Local musician and mom Katie Scheele will be offering an 8-week Baby & Me Music Class on Saturday mornings this winter for babies 6 weeks-1 year. The 45-minute class will be from 10-10:45am at the Gowanus Arts Building (295 Douglass St. between 3rd and 4th Avenue). The class includes singing, movement, instrumental performances, introduction to rhythm, use of small instruments (tambourines, shakers, etc.) and many other age-appropriate developmental activities. It is a great chance for your little one to socialize with other babies and a perfect opportunity for working parents to attend a class together. $160 for 8 classes, Saturdays February 2 - March 23.
