Store fronts at Pacific and Franklin

Hey, probably another bar or restaurant. The party continues (and in this case, we beer chuggers can treat the residents of the armory to a few rounds).
-
Jack-
The armory residents have curfews, which has the added benefit of meaning you will save a few bucks due to Happy Hour. -
If the bar were to open in the early afternoon, we'd have a 3-5 hours to toss a few back. Maybe they could host a "shelter special".

My experience has taught me that the public is most generous toward the homeless during the holidays, and after big weather events.
So, I don't think the new business should build their business plan around the public buying alcohol for residents.
They may, however, be able to sustain themselves on purchases by the guards and the social service workers, and/or people in the area to patronize the new antique-flea market.
P.S. The entire building is vacant, and they are redoing the plumbing as well as the electrical. It is a good rule to do that once every hundred years. Residential and commercial tenants appreciate it.

lots of action happening here over the last few days. Besides the sandblasting, inside has been gutted with major renovations, large new windows etc. Store is spacious.
-
yup, the renter gets 1800 sq ft at street level and the use of the basement.
It is listed for $5500 a month.

Note, the address is 591 Franklin Avenue, which is aka 1126 Pacific St.

Are these two separate store fronts or one large?
-
One large one.
I say that because I see two doors visible on Franklin, and loopnet talks about a 3rd on being available on Pacific.

The apartments above have been re-occupied, post gut renovation
I haven't heard whether they have found a commercial tenant yet. They might need to wait until 1000 Dean opens in the fall.

Sept 14: No ground floor commercial tenant yet.
