So I finally checked it out and it was OK, not on par with say Veggie Castle, but pretty decent. I liked the veggie pattie, it was really flaky and different. More pictures and a sort of review on my livejournal.

I tried this place once while riding around the hood. Super nice owner. The food was interesting and I found it tasty, but too greasy for my delicate stomach. Where's Veggie Castle?

It's 2242 Church Avenue, off Flatbush. It's a converted White Castle! Avoid like the plaque the "seafood" things, but all the veggies and fake chicken stuff is good. Yes, I agree that Imhotep was greasy - I'm still definitely an Islands girl.

Imhotep was dry, especially since he was involved in changing the Egyptian landscape (Designing stepped pyramids) during those sand storms
