Parking on the inner circle - CAR MISSING

I parked my car on the inner circle of Grand Army Plaza last night (along with a dozen other cars). The sign clearly reads "no standing Saturday 6am-6pm except for Farmers Market Vehicles." I went out there tonight to move it and it was gone. Called the Navy Yard pound and they said the had no record of the car being towed. Called 311 and they looked on their system and couldn't tell if the car had been towed...but said it is possible that it "wasn't yet in the system."

311 suggested i file a police report for a lost car...which i did. I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow when the pound opens up to see if it is there.

Wondering if anyone else was parked there last night...and if so, if your car is also missing.

And, by the way there was this story in the Patch that shows, according to the DOT, that these are legit parking spots:

problem solved. It was "relocated" for a movie shoot. There were ABSOLUTELY no signs or cones in those spots. What a joke. I wasted my Friday night dealing with this.

If anyone is interested, the inner circle is in the 78th precinct...not 77

Glad to hear you got your car back! Document any damage done during moving the car. The production company might be liable since they didn't put a sign up.
