Lost Cat on St. Marks Pl Between Franklin and Classon Ave — Brooklynian

Lost Cat on St. Marks Pl Between Franklin and Classon Ave

Lemma, my 9 month old American Shorthair got out through the screen on April 22, 2013 at around 7am. We live on Prospect Place between Franklin and Classon, but she is likely to be on St. Marks Pl between those streets.

Lemma is a 9lbs, female, spayed, indoor-only cat. She is grey, white, tan and black, with white circular markings on each of her sides. She has wide yellow eyes and is likely terrified. If anyone sees her, please call me immediately at 347.729.4729 or 347.241.8883.

There is a reward. Thank you.

  • escaped cats rarely go 75 feet from their home. Check any nooks and crannies in your backyards etc. often the cat will be silent and just hiding. Keep looking often and at different times of day.

  • Sometimes it helps putting out their litter box as they will go to it as it is familiar and has their scent. Go around several times a day with their favorite food calling their name and make sure you ask your neighbors to look out for her and to check their yards in case she is hiding somewhere or got stuck in someones shed/garage/etc.

Also go to your 2 nearest vets and pet food store with a lost cat sign and ask them to put it up for you.

  • Thanks for the litter box suggestion, I hadn't thought of that and will try it now.

  • Lemma came home! Thank you for all the thoughts and suggestions! They were very helpful and much appreciated!!
