At the Sept 9th CB8 SLA Committee mtg, no objections to their request for renewal were made by the police or the public.

The police stated they were very cooperative during the investigations that have been held during the course of their present lic, and -as a result- the committee will support their renewal request.

I'm surprised, actually no I'm not, the NYPD weren't opposed.

Bar owners need to be shown to be contributing to their patrons' bad behavior. No one argued that this was the case at the meeting.

I am told that the police have been very assertive in making sure no one hangs out outside the bar after closing, or other than to smoke a quick cigarette.

The owners are implementing some of the steps I outline above.
