Senator Eric Adams, Chair of the NY State Aging Committee will lead an interactive discussion on pertinent issues relating to the senior population at the August 20th SUN-B meeting held at Sephardic Nursing and Rehabilitation, 2266 Cropsey Avenue, Brooklyn. The meeting will run from 10am to 12pm and is open to the public.

The senator, who advocates for Brooklyn's elderly and senior citizens was instrumental in getting quick passage and implementation of legislation this past June that would help prevent financial crimes against seniors, bringing Brooklyn one step closer to greatly improved fraud protections for its older population. “We are grateful to Senator Adams for his efforts in helping to protect the population we serve,” says SUN-B’s president and chair, Vicki Ellner “and delighted that he will be presiding over this discussion. We welcome interested parties from the Brooklyn community to join us.”

While the meeting will begin at 10am, doors will be open at 9:30 for registration and networking. Breakfast will be served. For further information or to reserve your set, email [email protected] or call 516.455.9612.
