photo shoot on sterling place

what is this, the east village? there is a photo shoot going on right now on a stoop on sterling between underhill & washington. 3 girls posing under bright lights and lots of stylist types like, "oh yeah, that's hot, give me more of that girls!" one of the guys watching from across the street told me that one of the models is a host on BET. sterling place? don't they have stoops in manhattan?

Yeah, I walked by that, yeah it was weird. I actually see that prett often on Sterling and Classon. Who knows?

just noticed this post.

a couple of years ago there was a major movie shoot on park place between vanderbilt and carlton (can't remember what movie it was) ... and a couple of months ago they shot an episode of CSI (whatever) in the turner towers lobby and a vacant apartment there, as well as on the street in front.

they've been using the streets and brownstones of park slope for years for film shoots (of course, Spike Lee has filmed numerous films on the streets of Brooklyn) ... i think it's a good thing. it keeps the movie and television industry interested in new york as well as in the neighborhood. and it is generally a revenue producing venture for the city/brooklyn.

in the end (for the most part) ... good PR.

There's some kind of large scale shoot going on righ now between Underhill and Washington. Many trucks, catering and a trailer.

I walked by to read the sign... they are shooting interior shots for "RAV 4", which might refer to the Toyota.

It might also refer to "Really Albino Vulture Part 4".

The first two were awesome. The third was a little iffy. They tried working in this whole man/vulture love thing, I wasn't buying it. Still, I've wasted two hours in worse ways.

I can't remember when it was (maybe even a year ago) but there were camera crews and trucks on washington between sterling and lincoln pl. still have no clue what they were filming.
