Goodbye vacant lot on Dean, near Utica — Brooklynian

Goodbye vacant lot on Dean, near Utica

A developer hopes to build a five-story apartment building in an empty lot at 1705 Dean Street near Utica Avenue. DOB applications were filed yesterday for a 25-unit building with 17,089 square feet of residential space. The architect is DJLU Architects. And public records on PropertyShark show that developer Empire State Management bought 1705 Dean and neighboring 1699 Dean, also vacant, for $879,114 in May.

I must admit, two years ago, I thought that no developers were going to go past Kingston.
