Can anyone recommend a reliable, affordable landscaping/yard maintenance company, or an individual that performs these services, in the Crown Heights area?

Try Natalie Cushman (natcush at gmail dot com). She did an excellent job on our front and back gardens, at a very reasonable price.

May not be better or cheaper than Ms. Cushman, especially if your yards are small, but if she can't deliver, then Kings County Nurseries is said to do good work and has a sizable staff. I base this on commentary from satisfied customers and visuals of some fine looking yards.

I second Kings County Nurseries. I've used them at several homes I've owned and they are great. They'll even come in with a plan if you don't have any idea what you want done with the space. Plus they are a long-time neighborhood business so I always like supporting them.
