BROOKLYN THEN.... This Sunday A Sharing Session About Brooklyn History
Sunday, December 8, 4:00-6:00pm, 378 Myrtle Avenue (nr Clemont) 347-529-5220
You think the neighborhood is changing – but do you really know how much it’s changed? Or are you new to the neighborhood? What was it like ten years ago? Forty years ago?
Join Jenny Huey, history buff and co-owner of Huey’s Chueys Café on Myrtle Avenue in Clinton Hill, and Samantha Johnson, Site Director of the Ingersoll Community Center and a resident of Ingersoll Houses, as they share memories and stories about the Fort Greene/Clinton Hill neighborhood and Brooklyn. Bring your own memories and favorite local history to share.
Huey’s Chueys Café is the perfect place to enjoy talking about the past while enjoying retro candies, homemade ice cream, and hot drinks.
This event is co-sponsored by Brooklyn Young Filmmakers
