Hi all, I've been searching for a recipe for many years and was hoping you could help. I grew up in Bensonhurst, and there was a local grocery store there called Aiello's. howncreights, thanks! Much appreciated :-) Sguy212, I just used vegetable oil to fry it, though I suspect you can use any kind you prefer for deep frying. a light olive oil at a low enough temp would work too, and probably be better flavor. Merry Christmas, all!
