Hey, I'm an aspiring comedian/writer supporting myself with moving work until Letterman calls. Been doing the moving thing for a while. He's gonna call. Why not take advantage of my current under-achiever status on the off chance you can say you knew me when?

I've got a large, extended cargo van and a 16-foot box-truck. I move apartments and single pieces that people just bought on Craig's List. I've moved motorcycles and art - you name it. Have dollies, blankets, straps etc. and lots of satisfied customers. You and your friends are welcome to help with the moving to speed things up, or I can bring extra help if you like. You are also welcome to ride along in the van to the destination.

Rates within the 5 Boroughs:

1 man and the van: $45 an hour (2-hour minimum)
2 man and the van: $65 an hour (2-hour minimum)

1 man and the box-truck: $55 an hour (2-hour minimum)
2 man and the box-truck: $75 an hour (2-hour minimum)


As I said, my customers have all been very pleased with the service. I can fit quite a bit in the van (Couch, dressers, bed, boxes and bags all in one load). Most importantly, I show up, which is something some movers neglect to do, and I move fast, like I'm in a hurry to get done, not like I'm milking the clock.

Long-distance moves out of the city to places like Washington D.C. or Massachusetts are available for a flat rate. Call and we can discuss.
