That's actually stopped down to f/2. f/1.4 is a little too thin at that distance. Nice, creamy blur on this lens.

The orange thing outside I'm pretty sure is a chow-chow. This pic was taken at my son's girlfriend's house and they have 3 chow-chows. 2 out of 3 are not too fond of Louie.
