That was fast. I think I walked by yesterday and it was still not open.
-
its not open yet
-
huh - the door was open and there were people sat at tables and staff behind the counter.... Maybe they were just interviewing.
-
Do you think it will be another place that I'm not hip enough to go to? I'm hoping it has a real south slope vibe.
-
definitely open last night.
-
Did anyone notice how late they're open?
-
Shoot. I walked by there earlier, but didn't see your post before I went.
-
I walked by on the way home tonight and it was bustling with people and looks like a great inviting space to enjoy a cup of good coffee
I can't wait to try it out -
What was there before Cafe Eleven? it's hard to keep up!

That's ok. I'm just going to go by after rehearsal and see if they're still open.
Thanks, though, Flexi

It was someone's home.... I remember seeing a couple with a young child and a dog fairly regularly... -
i used to get americanos, but i go for lattés now. although i had a cappuccino today, with one sugar added, and it was pretty good too.
-
any tips what's moving in next door with the fancy new storefront that was just built?
-
Well, I went by at 10:30ish last night. They were long closed. I was hoping for too much.
I had to go to the tea lounge instead. Sigh. I need some variety in my late night coffee sipping. -
finally stopped in there yesterday. ordered a cafe au lait, and was extremely pleased. didn't try any of the foods in the case.
illy coffee is mmmmmmm reminded me of italy!
yummy coffee, nice addition to the nabe, good alternative to Stroller/WiFi Lounge -
Gosh. I went BEFORE rehearsal and missed the whole scene. Let us know when there's a regular schedule!
-
ok..out of stupidity.. I must ask what this abbreviation means..
WIFI
i JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO TRANSLATE THAT ONE.
i AM TOO EMBARASSED TO ASK BUT JUST DID BECAUSE IT IS LATE NITE AND i HAD A LITTLE TOO MUCH MERLOT.. -
s'okay, don't be embarrassed!
WiFi stands for "Wireless Fidelity", and it's for wireless local area networks. basically, if you've got a card in your laptop that can pick up and use a wireless signal (which some cafes use these days to lure customers), you can bring it with you to the cafe and use it (sometimes it's free, sometimes it's fee-based) there. -
I asked the owner what was going in next door. He told me a chocolate shop and a clothing store. I also heard that Otto was moving to 7th ave. Either the Craftsman/Grace spot, or across the st.
