Community Garden on Park Place west of Nostrand

I recently noticed a gated garden with no signage on Park Place just west of Nostrand that looks as if it may be attached to the school. While I have not seen anyone inside, I have noticed some cleanup activity on subsequent passes. I'd love to volunteer some plants and some sweat! Does anyone know what the deal is with this plot? Greg? Homeowner? Anyone?

I believe it's associated with the public school next door. You might stop by during school hours and inquire.
