Rogers St Marks
Hi
I'm trying to move out of my 2 BR on Classon & Bergen, and I'm searching for an affordable studio -- if anyone has one or knows of one available, like 900 max, pleease let me know, first off!
Secondly, I looked at a place on Rogers, bt. St Marks and Bergen, so it's not far from where I am now. I will go back and get a feel of the block more, but I figured I'd see if anyone lives aroudn there and can tell me about the more immediate area. I don't want to move somewhere just to walk "west" to be comfortable. I love Crown Heights, but mostly just familiar with classon/franklin, up and down from atlantic to eastern and never feel unsafe, bothered, or anything. So, I guess I'm asking, is Rogers & St Marks kinda the same feel? Because to me it felt more "scary" or "unfriendly" BUT I know this is only because I know and love my radius of a couple blocks, and feel very safe and comfortable there, know people, etc. So this is just new territory. Also there was a loooooud church thing going on, I'm assuming it happens every Sunday, anyone live across the street from a loud church? could that get annoying? or does it stay at that 'oh that's nice, " stage haha
So I'm not even asking about "safety," but I guess like, the feel of the immediate blocks, is it friendly, neighborly, quiet, loud, slow, busy, etc. etc.
thanks : )
