Did anybody see the fireworks last night (Sun, Apr 22nd)????

I was city in my living room, watching TV, when a beautiful and lengthy fireworks display began outside my window. Not close, but I had a perfect view (I'm on the fifth floor on a block with nothing taller than three stories). The display was to the right of the Statue of Liberty and looked like it was probably over the East River, near Brooklyn Heights.

Can anyone tell me what it was for? I searched online, but came up empty.

over in brooklyn heights it looked to be close to ellis or governor's island; i'd guess the former b/c april 16 - 22 was Immigrant History Week at Ellis Island.
