Ok, so I wasn't going to say anything because watching people tongue wrestling in public grosses me out and I didn't want to start ranting. HOWEVER! Today I go and get a huge slice of pizza for lunch. I'm sitting there, all peacefull, having my food and watching the TV set the pizza place has tuned to CNN, and what happens?!? This gaggle of teens comes in and makes a huge fuss all over the place. They take the seats next to me and one couple decides to amuse their friends by proceeding to swap spit in the most obvious way. Their friends got a big kick out of it. I on the other hand, practically threw up. It was gross! I don't need to see your saliva people!! Annoying!!

Ewww, lol , I just came back from a nice looooooong walk thru Park Slope , stopped at my Rite Aid on 7th Ave. , and on my way back home I went up the stairs into Mount Prospect Park , my usual route , and found a young couple on one of those benches , practically sitting on each other swapping spit....the good thing is that they didn't choose a bench near where the kids play.....they don't need to see that ....plus I'm sure an angry mom would yell at them to get lost.

That park is a nice place to go for a nice peaceful walk , because Prospect Park is usually more live....plus in Mount Prospect Park you don't have to worry about crazed bikers....and get to you see alot of cute dogs being walked and let off the leash to play fetch.....Now that I think about it...I am the only one usually up there walking around without a dog....am I walking in a dog park?:-k

I should get a dog to walk in the park . would be a good excuse to use it to talk to dog owners hehe . having a good week so far besides the pda's. great weather etc..... hope you have one too hehe.

LOL , cool , and you can let me borrow your dog so that I won't be the only one walking around without a pet....we will share custody....I just want visitation/walking rights.

jesus. I've made out (unfortunately - just cause the 'relationship' ended poorly) with a lot of dudes in bars. I've also made out up against a fence on st. marks btwn vandy and underhill (oh, I'm so not trying to deny this - it was goddamned hot ... at least for me). I don't have an issue with it. I might grimace if it's a bit much to take, but I just change seats. people need touch and kissing. both are lovely feelings and I wouldn't take them away from anyone.

oh right, I've also made out with a few chicks in public. sadly, that's more 'generally accepted'. probably b/c the guys who spotted it were hot for it. again, it's a lovely feeling and no one should disparage it. public, is, for all intents and purposes, public. live with it.

though I do hate those folks who walk three wide with wife, husband, dog, and stroller. infuriating.

Yeah, I've made out in public as an adult. Full on make outs. I've at least tried to be discreet.

Funny, I really don't like seeing other people kiss, especially teenagers. I start thinking of the teenage male/female dynamic and it goes downhill from there.

I have never made out in public.

The most my husband and I do in public is hold hands , or he puts his arm around on my shoulder , kiss on the hands , and when I walk him to work a goodbye hug & soft kiss on the cheek.

No pre-nup needed...picking up the poop is mandatory , failing to do so will result in you being grounded in your room for ten days with said poop.

Letting dogs lick and kiss you on the lips is gross....such a BIG turn off.....I would never ever ever kiss anyone that has made out with a dog.......EWWWWWWWWWW

I usually don't mind people making out in public. The times I get angry are when people are making out in small, crowded spaces. Imagine an ugly couple making out in a crowded subway car and rubbing against you in the process. Even an attractive couple on a hot, summer day in an over-crowded subway car would be barfy.

I've never thought this far before. As far as the dogs go, there should be a law that requires all dog owners to inform their dates of any kissing activities involving poop-eating pooches.

i've made out in public, and on the subway. honestly, when i've seen other people do it it's kind of icky but when i've been the one in the clutches it was pretty hot...

but when i'm in the park on the weekends and i see couples curled around each other sleeping in the sun it makes me a little jealous, not grossed out. i'd love to be napping like spoons in the sun with a good man.

i cannot stand making out in public. i don't do it myself and when i see other people doing it makes me feel like a ten year old seeing something private and naughty that i shouldn't be seeing. it's just too intimate for my taste. but to many points above, it certainly beats criminal behavior.
