New CH Restaurant - Asian Jazz

Located on Nostrand b/w Eastern Pkwy and President street.

David, the owner of Tavern on Nostrand (among other things) is opening a new restaurant across from the Tavern. It's called Asian Jazz and is going to be a fusion of asian foods. Not sure if there is an exact opening day scheduled yet but the place has been totally redone and has new furniture and a new sign. Looks ready to open. It is in the former "Bagels and High Tea" space.

If anyone knows the date, please post it.

It's going to be opening on Friday, June 1st. Or at least that is what he has been saying. But this could end up how the store and spa were as well. Those closed within a month and three months (respectively) of opening.

I don't think it is going to be opening tomorrow June 1. Last night at Tavern he told me he was a couple weeks out still. It looks like it is coming along, and his estimate seems reasonable, construction-wise at least. He also mentioned that he is opening up a bakery around the corner. He described the food as noted above, a fusion of Asian foods. Sushi, Korean BBQ, Chinese, etc. is what he said. I hope it all does well and doesn't close quickly, he seems like a really nice guy.
