Want to go to Ikea?

I always want to go to IKEA, but I can't right now. And I don't have a car.
You know armchair does the Ikea run too, and at least people on the board have met him/used him to move stuff.
which seems better than an anonymous craigslister . . .

I think armchairIS the anon craiglister. Want to come with us if he can go tommorrow {Tue the 11th?} I have to get shelving for my shop.
-
I just arranged with Armchair to take me to Ikea tomorrow, Tuesday the 12th, and we're leaving at noon. If anyone wants to come with us, better PM me today. the 10th.

Armchair is very reliable. You won't be sorry. I wish I could go, but I already have a commitment for tomorrow afternoon.
Have some meatballs for me! I recommend getting them with fries instead of potatoes, and getting extra gravy on the fries. But schedule your angioplasty first. -
Damn! Wish I could go, but I'll be working!
If anyone else goes again, let me know! Mummmm meatballs..... -
I have to eat the meatballs every time. Extra gravy and lingonberry jam.

Argh! We were actually at Ikea yesterday; if only we'd known. They now sell the meatballs frozen in big bags, which seems promising but I haven't had any yet so I can't recommend them.
I *can* recommend the Swedish pear cider (non-alcoholic, but comes in this big cans that look like beer cans). Kopparberg--delicious stuff. -

They're the same ones that they serve - we've bought several bags through the years. They also have the cream sauce/gravy mix to go with 'em.
My personal favorite - the sandwiched cookie crisp/chocolate thingies. -
Their coffee is good too (the one pound bags) and an incredible value.

I used armchairs brother, Henry, as van service today and would definitely use him again! He was professional, fast and a great driver. The van is huge and very clean. Highly recommended.
An interesting side note: Ikea has given up handing out plastic bags, and are charging 5 cents for each one until they run out. While I heartily applaud this action, I didn't know about it! Don't forget to bring your own carrying bag! They do sell extremely ugly reusable ones for $.59. Luckily, I brought my own giant tote. -
Isn't AW's brother dreamy?

I don't know, but I have the sudden urge to listen to Pavement's "Date With Ikea."

I'd have to say yes.
