Good News in the 'Hood?

Well, late in the summer months, there are Thursday evening (7ish) jazz concerts in the little "triangle" park next door to me. Right next to the museum, south side of E.P. between Wash and Classon. They're getting quite popular (in it's 3-4 year now). Nice way to have a picnic and enjoy some good music on a week night in a layin low in the hood sort of way.

There is a beautiful mural going up on Park Place, at Rogers, on the side of a school. It is still in progress, but it is of the Brooklyn Bridge, I think, made up of flags from around the world, and says something about peace in the neighborhood.

In other positive news, Ripple is continuing their beer & a shot for $5.
