Air Conditioned BARs EATs

It's so hot today, I started thinking about this coming summer and how much worse it's going to get. In particular, I was wondering where I could go after work or on the weekends to get away from my sweltering apt and catch a drink or perhaps a bite to eat in a COLD air conditioned place.

So where do you know in Brooklyn to get away and cool down?
I figured this list might help us all in the coming months.

  • I'll start with a few I know off the top of my head:

Cherry Tree on 4th ave -food, drinks and A/C
    4th ave pub -drinks
    Flatbush Farm -food and drinks

I think Loki and Great Lakes are A/C'd but I could be wrong... anyone know for sure?
  • I mourn the lloss of Snookeys/// had the best a/c in the hood for decades.
  • Flatbush Farm was pleasantly non-muggy earlier this evening. Plus they're good; even though I go there maybe every couple of months, they seem to remember me.

For the non-muggy days, their garden is getting prettier all the time.
  • Are there bars/restaurants that actually DON'T have A/C? That's madness. I must have been instinctively avoiding them all this time.
  • I stuck my head into Peperoncino last night and if the place did have AC, you couldn't tell. It was warm in there.
I love Bonnies, but that place gets too hot also.
  • BLUE RIBBON SUSHI IS COLD
    THANK GOD
MARIAS MEXICAN ON UNION IS FREEZING ALMOST
    SONG IS TOO HOT
  • Bar Sepia has it this year.
  • soda has ac.

(chavella's not, we discovered last night -- thank god it rained!)
  • I went to the Burger Bar tonight to listen to music. The music was great.. the Temp in the place was not. The front door were open till around midnight. When they closed them the AC was not happening.. It was hot in there!!!!
