Fun Things To do in The Slope
So we're finally getting decent hours thanks to the summer..I'm over the food haunts, so what else is fun to do in the area in the late afternoons into the evenings? I've spent close to 100% of my downtime in manhattan so I'm asking for suggestions from people who frequent the area and have favorites - both indoor and outdoor.
Thanks in advance!

Well, walking, of course. Have you checked out Prospect Park? Bike riding, horseback riding, paddleboating are great. How about a walk down 5th Ave. Great shops, several galleries, The Old Stone House. These's live music at Puppets Jazz Cafe, the Brooklyn Burger Bar, Biscuits Barbeque, and Barbes.
There are free concerts, talks, community discussions at the Grand Army Plaza Public Library. There are dance recitals at BAX and Spoke the Hub.
Enjoy.
Howdy, Stranger!
