11224 noise complaint

Hi. I'm in Coney Island (11224) right now. Does anyone living in this zip code have any experience with calling police about a noise complaint (neighbor's loud home stereo)?

side note: The noise is not coming from a project building; there is a project housing police for that.

D'you know the number for your building's management office?Or, dial 311 - if that brings no joy, follow up with a complaint to the office of Public Advocate or ask for the precinct chief. If that does not help, call 311 and reprot a domestic dispute at the apartment in question. Tell them you heard screaming and then they turned the stereo up so got worried.

But, it's best to talki to your neighbors first. Who knows, at some later time you may want to host a party or play AC/DC clips very loud.
