New Cat on the Block ... In Search of Permanent Home
Hello Everyone,
Let me introduce myself … my name is B.B. I am a three year old heart throb who was rescued from an empty parking lot in the Ditmas area of Brooklyn. I had joined up with a feral cat colony that lives in the lot in order to find food and survive outside. The feral cats showed me the ropes but I just could not hang ... I don't belong living outdoors! It's just too rough out there for a sweetie like me.
A Brooklyn TNR group recently scooped up the colony and I. I cried and cried to the rescuers to let them know that I was not wild and did not belong in the colony. They quickly realized that I was not feral ... just a lonely, dumped cat just trying to find his way in this world. I did not have to be released back outside (Hooray!). I quickly proved to them how great of a cat that I am.
I guess that I should talk a little bit about my medical history ... I have been examined by a vet, neutered, dewormed, received my FVRCP and Rabies vaccine, tested negative for FELV/FIV, and have been treated for fleas. I am one healthy little boy! I am going to have a dental cleaning before being adopted to keep my pearly whites nice and clean. A guy's got to keep up his image!
I am currently being fostered in a home with another adult cat. I don't make any waves with the other cat. I appreciate being inside and wouldn't want to jeopardize that. I would do well with other cats in the household.
My favorite thing in the whole, wide world is to snuggle. I have a lot of fun rolling around on beds, batting around toys, and sitting on laps. I also enjoy fine dining and listening to the Blues. The Blues remind me of my tough days on the street.
If you are interested me meeting me, please contact my foster mom at 718-436-7951. You will not be disappointed, I am a great catch!
I look forward to our rainy days full of snuggling together!
Meow, B.B.

Can this post get a sticky?

Mrs. C and I have been fostering this cat for several weeks, and I've got to tell you guys, the cat is super sweet. We can't keep her because our pre-existing cat doesn't know how to play with others, but I hope that anyone who is thinking of getting a cat gives Bibi a serious look.

Thanks everyone for your help! And a special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. C for fostering this little guy. I believe that we have found him a forever home

Yay! I love happy endings. Especially with the kitties.
Howdy, Stranger!
