Delivery Radius
I frequent restaurants in FG/CH/BS, as well as surronding neighborhoods, like PS, PH, BH....and most of the time, I take a menu with me ( if it's worthy of a 2nd visit). Going through all of my old and new menus, I notice that almost all of these restaurants offer 'free delivery'. Just wondering, is there an unsaid 'delivery radius' for these places, i.e. 10 blocks either way. I'm sure it varies from place to place and I can always call and ask , but I'm wondering if delivery is availible typically from places nearby but not in the confines of my 'hood, and just about how far.
Also, I receive many menus with Tasty offerings on my stoop offering 'free delivery'. Many of these places I find are in Boeurum Hill or Park Slope
(Dhaka, Soul Spot, Mr. Wonton are a few I noticed in my accumulation-never been to any) . Because they are dropping their menu on my stoop, does that mean that they are willing to deliver to me. It would seem to make sense logically, but not sure how this all works out in delivery protocol world.

Sometimes it says right on the menu what their delivery radius is. Brooklyn Heights to Ft. Greene might be pushing it, though.

You need to call each restaurant. I live in Clinton Hill....on Gates off Washington....only recently are some of the restaurants on Fulton starting to deliver, some at a minimum price , others free.Ironically, a few restaurants in Park Slope, Hunan wok and Mr Wonton being a few, deliver to my door with a minimum eight dollar order. I find the restaurants in CH on Myrtle dont deliver to me but a restaurant in Park 'Slope travels the distance to bring my food. Soulspot is on Atlantic and Smith and I think they would deliver to the moon for the business since the majority of their business was from the employees of the still clsed Bklyn Detention which is stifling his business to a degree.Notrays Pizza on Fulton and S Portland in FG deliver to me also as well as the now defunct Mobays on Dekalb n Ashland so I suggest you call the establishment, cause if they want the business, distance wont matter.
