Single, Professional Female Seeks Quiet, Private Room

Hi folks,

I'm in New York again on an open-ended assignment (I work in web development and land conservation) and need a place to stay on a flexible weekly or bi-weekly basis. Up to $115/week, which amounts to $500/month. I have a permanent place in 'Jersey, where I'll likely go most weekends. So you'd still have your place to yourself on a regular basis.

I'm 31, straight (gay-friendly), non-smoking, not a partier. I'm perfectly friendly, but my time at home tends to be my downtime - so, from a roommate point of view, I'm pretty quiet. I'm very tidy and reasonably clean, but also rather tolerant of those less so.

I'm looking for a basic, quiet room. Furnished with a bed and a place to hang my clothes (preferably not OVER-furnished). And private - no living rooms please. I'll also need internet access and a reasonable commute (40 minutes?) to Midtown, Manhattan.

Photos of me below. Please reply with any questions, with room location and description/details, and with photos if possible. I'm available to view rooms this weekend and would like to make arrangements immediately. Am willing to pay first and last weeks' rents up front, so you'd always have at least a week's notice before any move out.

Thank you!

  • So does it matter that you're 'single', 'gay-friendly', and self-identify as being of 'female' gender?
