Crown Heights North's 1st House Tour — Brooklynian

Crown Heights North's 1st House Tour

Subject: Crown Heights North's 1st House Tour

I'm contemplating entering my house on the tour. It's been completely renovated and I hope it will be totally ready by October 2007. The main reason for entering would be showcase the beautiful work my contractor has done, but for some reason I'm a little nervous about entering. If I do decide to enter, how would I go about it?

  • You should reach out to the folks at CHNA if you are interested in showing your house. They are trying to finalize the list of houses on the tour so you'd need to reach them now. Denise Brown (dbrown at crownheightsnorth.org)is the head of the house tour committe. Another member of the committee CrownHeightsProud posts here sometimes so you could also try to pm him/her.
  • Faithful, we're booked for this year, but please contact me and we'll put you down for next year.

I invite everyone to come to the first Crown Heights House Tour . It will be on Saturday, Oct 6th, from 12 - 5. Tickets can be bought from our website, or at the start of the tour. We are having a special kick off ceremony at 10:30 to celebrate. Tour starts at St. Gregory's RC Church at the corner of St. Johns Place and Brooklyn Ave. Tickets are $25. We will have 10 houses and 2 churches on the tour, and it's going to be great!

  • Man, I can't make it because I have a performance that night in Long Island. :(
  • Why do I have to work weekends? I've been dying to go on that house tour. Maybe next year I'll actually have a decent coworker willing to switch days with me. :(
