where to get stuff

When we lived in Park Slope we had a similar situation. We ended up going to our local Chinese restaurant (the kind that also sells fried chicken, etc.) and we asked them if we could just buy some wonton wrappers. After getting over some language (and conceptual) issues, we got our point across and they sold us about a million wrappers for just a few dollars! Mmm ... wonton! You might try your local Chinese restaurant, you never know! Good luck. --E.

I'm almost positive that they have them at Natural Land on Flatbush. I'm also pretty sure that I've seen them in one of the supermarkets around, but I don't remember which one. Wonton wrappers really aren't that hard to find anymore.

Really? When I was living in Astoria (with gourmet groceries galore) I couldn't find them anywhere. I had to go all the way to Flushing.

Anyway, I have to go into Manhattan tomorrow, so I might as well swing by Chinatown while I'm at it.
