Invasion of Tiny Moths

Aw girl, if they're those little wool eating moths, I'd be worried. Many a coat, sweater and skirt has been lost to those.
From experience: check all boxes/containers carrying grains like rice, cereal and oatmeal.... then pull out wool cloths in the closet and check for web sacks or signs of 'trails' where they have been feasting. I'm not sure how to get rid of them besides being fastidious.
Look it up online, I remember reading up on solutions a while a go. -
Ack! I don't seem them in the closet or in the kitchen, just flying around the living room mostly.
I remember reading that lavendar keeps them away, but I don't know how to kill them (as neither the cats or I can keep up with them).
I hope they're not feasting on any cashmere as I type! -

I squash my thumb and forefinger together, squint my eyes a little and say "I CRRRRUSH YOU!" in my best Dave Foley voice.
But that's just me. -
Yes, I forgot, cedar chips/blocks (the kind that attach to your hangers or you place in sachets) and lavender oil sprayed on walls/closets

usually found at target/bath body & beyond etc...home places
I have bought a package set of cedar blocks on a little hanger that you can hang off your closet pole with a refresher spray of lavender scent. -
Totally off topic but, my favorite character ever!
'Well, I put my money in my mattress.' 'Well, I put my money in my wallet.' You're boring me! I'm crushing your head! I'm crushing your head! Hey! I just renamed your firm Merrill Lynch and the Flathead! I crush you.
Ok, now for some actual help.

What color are they? That'll help figure out where they're hiding. -
They are beige and a bit silvery. They seem to only be in the living room. I keep doing research and it says that they congregate near where they are nesting. I hope that means that my kitchen and closets have been safe as I haven't seen any there. I put a bunch of lavendar dryer sheets in my closets as a start and am going to be scrubbing down the living room, vacuuming, etc. today.

Yup, there's nothing like a little bug infestation to get you to do some fall cleaning!
I feel your pain. -

How much do you emphathize? Enough to come help? ;-) :-)
I feel your pain. -
Well, I read from the link that moths can come into the house by grains and rice products. I store my grains in the fridge. (Being single, I only buy small quantities anyway.) This seems to be the only foolproof way to keep the buggsies out.
Howdy, Stranger!
