contruction site kitties doing great, but still need a home!
Remember us? We are Bob and Siri, the 2 cats rescued from a construction site a couple of months ago in Brooklyn who were looking for a home.

We are still looking for a home, but we have lots of good news to report!
Thanks to our patient and loving foster person, we have both begun to relax and are learning that people aren't so bad! Although we still sometime like to sleep together in our crate at night, we've been out
and about in the rest of the house during the days with the other cats who live here! (and we all get along fine - they just sort of ignore us.)
Who knew that a couch could be so cozy and comfy to curl up on? And the cat dancer??? We LOVE it! Sometimes we let our foster mom pet our heads while we play with it, or while we’re eating. That's a BIG step for us, especially since we were pretty scared when we got here about 2 months ago. Just goes to show you that we could really learn to warm up to someone if we were just given some time and love and a permanent home - that's what we really need.

Our foster mom thinks we are great beauties – she calls me (Siri) an Egyptian goddess! And my brother Bob is pretty cute too. These pictures just don't do us justice. We were sitting nice and cozy, bathing ourselves on the couch when this person came in trying to take pictures, so we decided to head back to the crate after a flash or two. Bob was a little suspicious!
We are sure hoping that someone can help us. Now that we have discovered good food and toys and cozy nap chairs and how nice it is to have our heads rubbed, we just can't go back outside! But we can't stay in our foster home much longer either - for real! And being in a cage doesn't sound like fun - not to mention that you would get a much better idea of what we are like if you came to see us in our foster home - not in a cage, where we would probably be scared again.
Why don't you come check us out and see how gorgeous we are in person? We wouldn't ask much of our new people and home - just love us and be patient! We are already starting to come around!

If you'd like to meet us, please reply to this post and someone will contact you right away!
Thanks!

Aww, what cuties! I hope someone adopts them soon, they've definitely earned a good home after all they've been through.
