There's a new place on Fifth Ave across from the park -- say, between 3rd and 5th St -- that has housewares in the window and some fabric and other craft supplies in the back.
No idea about prices, but it was cute stuff.

Yes the store is called Brooklyn Mercantile. It's lovely.
they have lots of nice fabrics, thread and notions! but it's very warm and inviting inside and she has some other things like pillows and candles.
definitely worth checking out and welcome !
i can't recall either if it's between 3rd and 4th or 4th and 5th but it's around there on fifth ave.
