Well, not necessarily only basements...any temperature-controlled enclosed area.

Slope Street Cats (www.slopestreetcats.com) seeks space to use as pre- and post-surgery recovery space for our spay/neuter feral cat projects.

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit and can give a tax-deductible receipt for an in-kind donation if you would like to donate the "rent" fee. (We're not really in a position to regular pay rent each month.) Typically rent for 2 weeks when we've used shelter space in the past has been approximately $150-200.

Our projects last approximately 2 weeks with 2 shifts each day (morning shift, evening shift) if you need to be there for us to access the space. We do projects on a monthly basis.

We will give you fair and ample warning that it is a bit on the odiferous side (which is another reason we clean the cages 2x per day besides post-surgery hygiene) but we do our best to keep it as tidy as possible.

It is a really wonderful and extremely hard-to-find donation and you would be helping countless litters of cats not be born out on the streets! We have 2 people who assist currently but we're looking to stagger it every few months if possible to give them a break!
