I was just walking down 14th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues and there were about five lovely kitties hanging out, some of them quite young ... they'd start to go into the street but then would run back when a car was coming. They were all coming back to this one stoop so I thought they lived there, but when I rang the bell (because I hate to see cats on the street) the nice woman told me they actually didn't belong to anyone and lived in the alley a couple of doors down - it's on the south side of 14th, close to 5th Ave.

They're absolutely beautiful cats, I'd love to see them find real homes. I have three cats already so can't take one in, but these kitties are heartbreakers, I tell ya.

I'm in the middle of trying to rescue a kitty that I can't take in myself. I've found there are options out there to place them. Contact Slope Street Cats for advice. If they're young and cute it shouldn't be a problem to find them foster homes.
