Pizza dough: Where can I buy some?

I am looking for a place to buy some great pre-made pizza dough. Anyone know where I can purchase some? i was thinking a bakery or pizzeria but have never gone in and just asked for pizza dough...is this an acceptable request or not? recommendations, please send them on. Thanks!

I wouldn't buy pizza dough from a bakery,you usually get an old frozen ball. Pizza places usually will sell you a dough for a few bucks and you know you're getting a fresh product.

i second the above...just go to a local pizza place. it's usually a couple of bucks.
