NFL Room: A place for true fans of the game

So here I am trying to enjoy another Thanksgiving of Football.

But I am so TIRED of being forced, as a football fan, to either watch the DREADFUL, mediocre, horrible DETROIT LIONS kick field goals all day or spend time with my family in the other room, of course. I'm trying to determine which is more painful on Thanksgiving!

Christ, why is this team still in the league? They are the WORST team historically in the NFL and yet they are the "highlight" game of thanksgiving. They are NEVER contenders - ever.

Can we start a MERIT based honor of playing on MNF or Thanksgiving?

This might be hard to do, but true football fans everywhere would at least appreciate the effort from the NFL. Can we end the terrible "DETER-OIT" Thanksgiving game tradition and switch that up with another team? I even hate that DRAB, mediocre, uninteresting debacle of a quiet stadium they have. Its so DEAD!!

Can we give the Detroit Lion's run a rest for a little while on Turkey-Day for the sake of the league? The Cowboys are at least in contention almost every year and have had winning seasons and a few championships so They can be on probation for a while.

Detroit is just simply dreadful year in and year out.
Please, stop it, I am begging you NFL. Enough!!

And Hey:

WTF is up with games SLOWLY BUT SURELY and STEADILY creeping to the "NFL Network?" Am I going to have to get a dish to watch a game on Sunday soon?

Next weeks game of the month is Packers/Cowboys (both 10-1) but you have to have the dish!!
