Another moving question

Hi I am currently looking in the williamburg/greenpoint area for an apartment. My max rent for a 1br is around 1400 (hopefully some ultillities included) I've been stalking craigslist and not finding too many places, so if anyone has an Realtor info they could pass along that would be great. Also knowing specific areas would be helpful for safety ( my potential new job will be in midtown on 42nd street with hours between 1-9, so traveling in the evening will be a major concern) THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP!!

  • Doubt your gonna find anything for that price anymore, if your new job is on 42nd street look for a place in Sunnyside Queens the 7 Train takes your right to grand central
  • if you're willing to go a little deeper into williamsburg (eh, "east williamsburg"?) you might have some luck. might not be the nicest of places though. it's a pretty tough area to find anything affordable in, especially if you wanna be in the "cool" parts.
  • How times have changed

I remember paying $75.00 a month rent on Leonard Street back in the day  And I'm NOT that old
  • i heard there is a cool place on franklin ave that has a couch you could stay on.
