Broom Swept

As I'm moving out of my old place, I told the LL that I'd leave it in "Broom Swept" condition. I know he's going to try to dick me around with the return of my deposit.

I always have heard that "broom swept" is all you need to do - all trash out, etc., but I'd love to find it in writing.

I've searched the regular sites - tenantnet, etc.

Anybody know for sure?

Excellent...I don't have a camcorder, but am definitely taking pictures. I also have logs of conversations and put it in writing that we had a conversation agreeing to the date I am vacating and that deposit was agreed to be returned.
