car parking question

Hey so my car just got towed and for what I hope is the last time. I was wondering if anyone on this board has a parking space that they don't use (or knows someone with one) and would like to rent it out to me monthly. I'd go directly to a garage but can't really afford that so was hoping to create a win-win situation - you get some extra cash every month for something you have but don't use and I get to not pay the City of New York a ridiculous amount of money for parking in a seemingly legal spot...

You should mention which part of the Slope you are looking in.

well, i'd honestly be interested in a spot anywhere in the slope-area (i don't drive my car everyday, just want it handy for weekend get-aways etc) but specifically i'm in center slope on president st. so i guess the closer to that the better...

I know you said you can't afford a garage, but there is a garage located near your home that is not especially expensive (as these things go). It's the Garfield Garage, just below 7th Ave. $267 per month including tax.

It's not the world's most convenient place (it's not manned on Sundays, so if you absolutely need to use your car on a Sunday you need to park on the street Saturday night; also it's very long and narrow and gets backed up quickly... so you sometimes need to call an hour before you need your car so that they can move cars around to make yours accessible), but you don't have to worry about alternate side regs or parking tickets.
