Beet?

I'm meeting a friend for drinks and apps/ dinner in the slope and was pretty set on going Song on 5th and 1st since i like their food and prices.

I was wondering if any of you has been to Beet and what you thought of it. While I love Song since it's much closer and familliar territory, I'm considering going to Beet instead because it may be more convenient for her to get to. I've never been there and don't know anyone who has. How's the food? service? wait times? cocktails?
