doctors, oh my! — Brooklynian

doctors, oh my!

I've put this off for too long, but it's finally time to do it: choosing a new primary care physician.

The ones in my zip code that take my insurance are:

Dr. Syed Ahmad
Dr. Marc-Antoine Alerte
Dr. Terry-Jan Blackett-Bonnett
Dr. Benjamin Farmer
Dr. Gail Fraser-Farmer
Dr. Devendra Shrivastava
Dr. Aaron Stone

Does anyone know anything about any of these doctors. Any in this list you'd recommend? I wanna stick to this zip code because if I've got the flu or bronchitis, I don't want to have to travel far.

I wouldn't limit it to just zip codes - you can cross the street and be in a different zip code. Also an address within your zip code might be 10-15 blocks away. Good luck!
  • Well, I checked all the addresses of the doctors in neighboring zip codes and to tell you the truth, the others are more of a schlep. I'm right smack in the middle of my zip code so any one of these doctors are nearby. They're all pretty much 10-15 blocks away, but that means a 5 minute cab ride at most. There are doctors that are closer to me, but so far as I can tell, they're not on my insurance plan. These are, which is why I'm asking about them.
