Is Sonny Payne still around?

I was reading a NY Times article from 2004 about Sonny Payne, the older gent who used to ride the F train all the time and I realized I haven't seen him in a very long time.

Is he still around? Am I just missing him or is he not around any more?

I remember hearing someone else using his speech one time on the A train and people booed that guy.

I'm pretty sure I've seen him in the last few months...but I could be wrong.
