Police Tape on Lincoln Pl Between Franklin and Bedford

Noticed it coming home from work today and there is more tape on the block itself and a sky watch in the middle of the street. The people working at Mazon's said something happened a couple hours ago. Conflicting reports. Does anyone have more info?

They said they thought fire because there were fire trucks earlier and smoke or a smell. Someone on the street said it looked like it had to do with the law office on the block. No-one seemed very clear.

Fun with sources of unknown validity:    

I was told a suspicious powder was rec'd by the law office.   

...precautions were taken to protect the public, and then the substance was tested.   

It was determined to be not harmful.
