Park Slope biking advocate Steve Faust dies at age 67
Sad news for the biking community.
Longtime New York City bicycling advocate Steve Faust, who spent decades leading a push to add a bike and pedestrian path to the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, has died. He was 67. The Park Slope resident lost his year-long battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia on March 29, his family said Tuesday.
